The Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) is running it’s annual, month long, campaign promoting forklift safety for the month of September.
This year’s theme is “You don’t walk away from a fork lift accident” is particularly hard hitting and emphasises the seriousness of fork lift truck accidents and the importance of proper training.

The FLTA are also running a Safety Champion Award to recognise those who have shown exemplary commitment to making their workplace a safer place for colleagues working on or around fork lift trucks.
The winner takes home a Safety Champion trophy and £250, courtesy of sponsor, Briggs Equipment UK.
The Safety Champion Award is open to all companies and you can nominate a colleague, a customer or even yourself.. To enter, click on the link below and describe (in 300 words or fewer) why you or the person you are nominating should be the FLTA Safety Champion 2017.
