For multi directional truck training, the following course durations will apply:
Novice course (for candidates with no prior training and experience) – for a maximum of 3 candidates the course will be 5 days, for 2 candidates it will be 4 days and for 1 candidate it will be 3 days.
Basic / experienced (for candidates with prior experience but no formal training or training having lapsed) for 2-3 candidates the course will be 3 days and for 1 candidate it will be 2 days.
Conversion course (for candidates already trained on one or more truck types to convert to a different type of truck) for 2-3 candidates the course will be 2 days and for 1 candidate it will be 1 day.
Refresher course (for candidates with previous training) – for a maximum of 3 candidates the course will be 1 day.
There are 4 categories of multi directional trucks:
M1 – Multi Directional counterbalance
M2 – Multi Directional side loader (as pictured)
M3 – Multi Directional reach truck
M4 – Multi Directional pallet stacker (pedestrian operated)
