A year for Stackers Training at Apollo Park, Wroxton

This time last year, we were taking delivery of our Linde forklift trucks and setting up our brand new training centre at Apollo Park, Wroxton.  Once we gained RTITB accreditation (Road Transport Industry Training Board) at our centre, training commenced immediately and has increased over the last 12 months.

We are pleased to say we have trained for lots of new customers, as well as existing customers and we have also been able to train individuals to help them gain employment.   We have also provided a number of free forklift driving taster sessions this year which have given individuals the opportunity to have a go on the truck before committing to paying for a course.  This is something that we are planning to continue over the next 12 months.

We are now offering training on evenings and weekends as we realise that this may be more convenient for those already in employment and it utilises our training centre 7 days a week.

The neighbours at Apollo Park are very friendly and it has been nice to be able to assist some of them when forklift truck operations are required.  We very much enjoyed attending the Rootes Archives Trust open day in April this year and look forward to future events at Apollo Park.
