Fancy learning to drive a forklift?

If you are thinking of learning to drive a forklift truck but are not quite sure whether it’s for you then look out for one of our taster courses which will be held regularly throughout 2018 at our training centre near Banbury.

We will advertise the courses on Facebook and our website and they are free to attend.  The courses will mainly be held at the weekend and if you would like to go ahead and book your novice training, following the taster course, we will give you a discount on your training.

The taster courses will include the following and you will get to have a drive on the truck:

• Introduction to the Truck – (show & explain the main uses, components and functions of the truck including controls and instruments)
• Basic operation – (starting, moving, steering and stopping)
• Simple manoeuvres – (90 degree turns to left & right, forwards and reverse through simple courses)
• Load Handling including Racking System – stacking/destacking pallets in the racking system

Please note that this will not provide you with a qualification, you will need to complete the novice course and pass the practical and theoretical test to gain your certificate.
