Ladies Forklift Experience Session – Saturday 6th April 2019

Today, Friday 8th March, is International Women’s Day and a perfect time to tell you about our forthcoming forklift experience session for ladies on Saturday 6th April 2019.   This fits in with this year’s theme #Balanceforbetter and will hopefully play a very small part in contributing to a gender balanced world.  The 2019 #BalanceforBetter campaign runs all year long. It doesn’t end today, so we hope that our session on 6th April will be the first of several experience sessions throughout this year and will also give us the opportunity to raise funds for local charities.

Forklift driving tends to be male dominated and we’d like to encourage more ladies to join us on our training courses and become skilled forklift operators.  Maybe we are put off by doubting our abilities or lack confidence?  Either way, attending an experience session will provide you with some basic tuition on health and safety, how to operate the truck and then you’ll have an opportunity to have a go, under supervision of course.  Tea, coffee, cake and biscuits will be provided.  There will be a charge of £20 per person and all proceeds will be donated to Katharine House Hospice.

If you’re interested in attending on 6th April, or would like to attend a future event if you can’t make this date, please telephone 0800 024 8084 or e-mail anne@stackerstraining.co.uk
