The RTITB are retiring physical NORS photo ID Cards and launching a new eCard on 12th July 2021.
Here’s what you need to know about the rollout.
Physical ID cards will no longer be issued by RTITB
- The eCard will be compatible with Apple and Android phones
- eCards will appear in phone digital wallets
- eCards will be available as a PDF (for those who don’t have a smart phone)
- ID cards will be sent through within hours of processing the application
eCards will include:
- Operator photo
- Name
- NORS number
- Training company logo
- ABA logo and truck code (where applicable)
- RTITB logo
- Course title
- QR Code for verifying operator qualifications
