One of our instructors carried out some training on the telescopic truck near Stow on the Wold in the Cotswolds last week. We carry out telescopic truck on customer sites as we do not have one of these trucks at our training centre, near Banbury.
It’s nice to carry out training in different areas, especially the Cotswolds, even though the temperatures were very cold last week.
Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at a junction of seven major roads, including the Roman Fosse Way. At the height of the Cotswold wool industry the town was famous for its huge annual fairs where as many as 20,000 sheep were sold at one time.
This week, we’re training in Didcot, Oxfordshire, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, Buckingham and also at our training centre at Apollo Park, Wroxton.
